First Steps.

Dungeons and treasures is a game that pays you to play. Your mission is to explore dungeons, kill the monsters you will find and collect gold pieces and potions. At the end of the month, the gold pieces you have collected will be converted into US dollars. roughly 1 dollar per 350000 gold pieces.

In order to kill monsters you will need weapons, and to obtain weapons you need gold pieces. You will be given 500 gold pieces at the beginning of the game to buy weapons, but that is not enough, so the first thing to do is to go treasure hunting.

Scroll down the screen until you find in the menu BONUS: TREASURE HUNT.

Click on "treasures hunt" and one of these two screens may appear. If you just have subscribed, you will see this screen:

This means that you can't play treasures hunt today, you will have to wait until tomorrow to play this game. It is done this way to prevent cheating.

If you registered more than a few hours ago, this screen will appear when you click on 'treasures hunt'

Click on the grey/brown box that says 'Have my free box of the day' and when the screen refreshes click on 'Play the free treasure hunt' After clicking, a screen with a gridded map will appear. click on one square and if you are lucky you can find up to 20000 gold pieces, or a key.

If you find a key go to MENU: PLACE: CHEST ROOM. Then in the main screen select your key and open a chest with it, you will obtain more gold pieces.

Second thing to do is to visit the temple.

Go to MENU: PLACE: TEMPLE. A message will appear saying that you have to come back some other day to receive a compensation.

REMEMBER. the first two things to do EVERY DAY before entering the dungeon is to go TREASURE HUNTING and to visit the TEMPLE. The temple will give you money from time to time.

Buy some weapons.

Then you need to buy some weapons, You can buy weapons in two different places; at the shop, and at the market. Go to MENU:PLACE:Shops to visit the shops, then click on weapon shops, you can use up to three different weapons when you are at a dungeon, but if you are starting I recommend you to buy a sword and a dagger, which sword to buy? well, if you have enough money, one with bonus points, the more bonus the better, up to a point. make sure you save some money to buy a dagger, also with bonus points if it is possible.

You can check how much the weapons are at the shop and then go to the market to see if you can find the weapon you liked at the shop at a reduced price.

Once you have the weapons, you have to wear them. Click on MENU:YOU:MY EQUIPMENT and the main window will change to this picture:

Now click on the rectangle that says "Not any" under weapon 1 and select the sword you just bought. Click on Weapon 3 and select the dagger, you will notice that you can only select daggers to use in the weapon 3 compartment. Later on you will have to buy another sword to put on the weapon 2 compartment, but for beginners, just one sword is fine.

Last step before going inside the dungeon is to check your character Progression Points (PP) Look in the menu, below the sword and you will see the tag PP and a 1. That means you have one progression point. Those points are used to increase your character attack, defense and other abilities.

Click on MENU:YOU:My Character and you will see a screen similar to this one, but you only have 1 prograssion point to give, instead of 15, and that progression point only can be assigned to Attack, Defense or Ruse.

I recommend to increase your characters attack or defense level, to do so, click on the word "Attack" or "Defense"

Every time you kill a monster you will gain some experience points (XP) The sword bar in the menu tell you how many experience point you have to gain to climb up a level. Every time you go up a level, you will have some progresion points to enhace your characters abilities. Check Collecting gold to learn understand a bit more of levels, experience points and progression points

And finally, you can go to the dungeon, where is it? Dungeons are below the tavern, so go to MENU: PLACE: TAVERN and click on the red arrow. then in the next screen click on ENTER and you will be inside the dungeon.

Remember that if you leave the dungeon, you can return to it the same day or some other day by going to MENU: MY CHARACTER: You will see a list with the names of the dungeons you have visited and at the end of each file the word 'enter' hit enter to visit that particular dungeon again.

INSIDE THE DUNGEON

The dungeon screen looks like this:

In order to navigate through the dungeon, click on the red arrows, click the straight arrow to go straight, or the bent arrows to go left, right or go back.

On the floor of the dungeons you will find gold pieces, potions and weapons, click on them to pick them up

You can also find monsters, you will have to fight against them. to do so click on the attack button on the up right corner or the 3d screen, then select your weapon, (I recommend the sword) and click on CONFIRM. If you are lucky, you will hurt the monster, repeat the fighting sequence until the monster dies. If you are unlucky, the monster will hurt you, then, if you have found a healing potion +1 you can click on it and use it, the potion will heal you (sometimes potions don't work)

Once you have killed the monster you will be able to collect what it was guarding, it can be gold pieces, chest keys or dungeon keys. You will find some rooms in the dungeon protected by doors, you have to find the correct key to open that particular door. Once you have found it, you will be able to walk through the door and find other rooms with gold pieces, monsters or other keys inside.

And that is it. The most difficult thing to do is to know when you have finished exploring the dungeon. Sometimes there is a door you haven't opened yet or a passageway you haven't explored.
