Magic and Spells.

Magic

magic Once you have reached level 10, you can increase your magic skills and use magic spells. Magic spells can be used as weapons and some monsters are less resistant to some flavours of magic than others. You can see in the picture the four flavours of magic, (air, water, fire and earth):

You can use your progression points to increase your magic attack and magic defense of each one of these four flavours of magic. You can also increase your magic attack and defense by using:

Weapons that increase your magic attack, defense or overal for one or several flavours of magic.
Armors that increase your magic defense for one or several flavours of magic.
Magic potions +1 (air, water, fire and earth)

The magic defense prevents you from being injured from certain types of monsters, specially from the top level ons. the magic attack allows you to use magic spells.

Spells

Spells are magic weapons. You can throw magic spells against monsters. The damage suffered by the monster depends on the kind of monster it is (air, water, fire or earth monster), on your attack magic skills and on the strength of the spells you are using. As with magic, spells come in four flavours:

Devastating lightning spells.
Ice ball spells.
Fire ball spells.
Earthquake spells.

Each one is linked to one of the four flavours of magic. In order to use spells you have to have some skills on one particular flavour of magic. You only can use Devastating lightning spells if you have some air attack magic skills. You can only use Ice ball spells if you have water attack magic skills. Same happens with fire ball spells, they are linked to fire magic and Earthquake spells are linked to Earth attack magic.

Magic spells can be bought at the magic shop (go to Menu:Place(Shops)) and then click on magics shop. Spells also are sold in four different strengths, normal, +1, +2 and +3. The strongest is +3, and of course it is also the most expensive

If you buy a spell and it is not available for you to use in the dungeon, it is because you lack of enough attack magic skills for that particular flavour of spell.

Using your spells effectively

magic The first thing you have to do is to choose one flavour of magic, lets say, air magic, and use your progression points to raise your air magic attack to the maximum possible, (once you have maximized your attack and defense) Then, with the remaining progression points you raise evenly your four magic defenses as you can see in the picture

Then you go to the shop or to the market and you buy the spells that work for the flavour of magic you have chosen, in this case devastating lightning spells. You buy 20 or 30 of the cheap spells, either normal or +1. The +2 or +3 are way too expensive, take into account that you spell used is spell lost.

You can also improve your magic attack by using one air magic potion. Once you are in the dungeon, you will be able to throw devastating lightnings to the monsters, if you have topped your magic attack, the spells will be very effective, and, if you take into account the cost of the cheap spells versus the cost of repairing weapons, it is cost effective too.
